Privacy Mode you can see — and prove
AetherCut v1.9.130 shipped on with 6 updates to the private, browser-based video editor. It's the current version, so you already have it: just open the editor. AetherCut edits on your own device, so your footage never has to be uploaded to a server.
What's new in v1.9.130
- Privacy Mode now turns the header pill bright red and shows a thin red bar under the header, so you always know it's on — with a one-click Turn off
- Cloud AI tools are greyed out with a small red lock while Privacy Mode is on. Tap one and you can turn Privacy Mode off right there
- New Privacy Receipt: export with Privacy Mode on and download a PDF that lists every network request your browser made during the export — measured, not claimed
- The sample tutorial now has a clear voiceover (no more echo) and on-screen captions, so you can follow along with the sound off
- Tidier editor: nothing in the header or timeline toolbar overlaps on smaller screens, and the logo follows your accent colour
- AI B-roll, AI Reshoot and Lip-Sync now run on Kling — the app and site now say so everywhere
