Channel ROI dashboard, mobile drag handles, refined tool counts
AetherCut v1.7.0 shipped on with 8 updates to the private, browser-based video editor. Everything here is already included in the latest version. AetherCut edits on your own device, so your footage never has to be uploaded to a server.
What's new in v1.7.0
- Admin dashboard (/whitelist.html) gained a Channel ROI comparison table — every UTM source side-by-side with editable per-channel spend, sortable by $/Pro, cheapest channel highlighted in green
- Reddit Ad ROI card now shows $/Pro signup + Pro conversion % (first-touch attribution stamped on user record at signup)
- Guest Mode activation funnel — admin dashboard shows guest-open count and conversion rate (guest_activations / login_views)
- Mobile parity: timeline text-overlay + subtitle chip resize handles are now always-visible 8px tap targets on touch devices (was 6px hover-revealed, invisible to fingers)
- Touch drag works on text overlay + subtitle chips — onTouchStart binds alongside onMouseDown via a new shared pointer-input helper
- AI Director revealed in the public tool count — was hidden during launch ramp, now part of the visible 19 Pro tools
- Filler Word Removal + AI Morph Cut counted in tier tally — 37 total tools, 9 total AI features (was 34 / 6)
- Behind the scenes: Timeline.js split into TextOverlayRow / SubtitleRow / StickerRow subcomponents (969 → 798 LOC); E2E test surface expanded with seed(), restoreTextOverlays, restoreStickers, restoreOverlayClips, setPro
