Desktop waitlist: use-case keyword widget for decision-support
AetherCut v1.7.54 shipped on with 5 updates to the private, browser-based video editor. Everything here is already included in the latest version. AetherCut edits on your own device, so your footage never has to be uploaded to a server.
What's new in v1.7.54
- New keyword bucket strip on /admin/desktop tallies signups across 6 semantic clusters: Hardware export, Local AI, Offline/no network, Regulated workflows, Creator content, Browser pain. Each pill shows count + % of total
- Regulated workflows bucket triggers on NDA, legal, attorney, deposition, medical, patient, telehealth, HIPAA, government, classified, sealed, evidence — the signal that tells you whether to prioritize a /legal landing page over a generic /desktop pitch
- Click any pill to filter the list to just signups matching that bucket. Combines with the text-search filter (AND logic) so you can do "regulated" + type "podcast" to find regulated podcasters
- Decision-support guide below the pills tells you what each cluster means for Phase 1 scoping: Hardware → NVENC/QSV/VideoToolbox · Local AI → bundle Whisper.cpp + small LLM · Regulated → ship /legal landing first
- Widget hidden until total ≥ 5 signups — not enough data to read before that
