AI Voiceover now shows up on the timeline
AetherCut v1.5.8 shipped on with 4 updates to the private, browser-based video editor. Everything here is already included in the latest version. AetherCut edits on your own device, so your footage never has to be uploaded to a server.
What's new in v1.5.8
- Fixed: clicking 'Add to Timeline' in the AI Voiceover panel now drops a visible violet pill on a dedicated VO track directly below the main audio waveform
- Drag the pill left/right to reposition the voiceover start time; hover and click × to remove it
- Pill width reflects the generated audio's actual duration (probed via HTMLAudioElement metadata before insertion)
- Note: audible playback + export wiring is a follow-up — this release is the visible-on-timeline confirmation step
