First-time B-roll discovery nudge
AetherCut v1.9.79 shipped on with 3 updates to the private, browser-based video editor. Everything here is already included in the latest version. AetherCut edits on your own device, so your footage never has to be uploaded to a server.
What's new in v1.9.79
- When a user's clip count transitions 1 → 2+, a one-time sonner toast surfaces explaining that additional videos can layer on the V2 track above V1 as b-roll or picture-in-picture
- 'Show me V2' action button scrolls the V2 dropzone into view + pulses a cyan ring for 2.4s so users can't miss where to drop the next clip
- localStorage-gated so returning users never see it repeatedly; analytics measure show → click-through ratio

AetherCut is free to start and runs in Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, with no install and no account needed to edit. Open the editor or see how it works.
