Eight new Companion Tools, plus articles and a smoother checkout
AetherCut v1.9.134 shipped on with 12 updates to the private, browser-based video editor. It's the current version, so you already have it: just open the editor. AetherCut edits on your own device, so your footage never has to be uploaded to a server.
What's new in v1.9.134?
- 4K Upscaler Tool ($9.99): switch it on in Export to sharpen lower-res clips into crisp 4K on your own GPU. It also unlocks 4K export, and comes with an offline mini-app for any video or photo.
- Batch Export Helper ($9.99): export YouTube 16:9, Reels/TikTok 9:16 and Square 1:1 versions in one click from Export, plus an offline mini-app with crop or blurred-background framing.
- Thumbnail & Cover Generator Lite ($9.99): an offline app that finds your sharpest frame and saves YouTube, Shorts and square covers, with 10 text styles and 8 overlay templates.
- Audio Bed & SFX Starter Pack ($9.99): 4 loopable music beds and 10 sound effects, royalty-free, one click from the Audio and SFX panels.
- Short-Form Content System ($14.99): 8 hook, body and CTA styles, PART badges, end cards and a 9:16 safe zone, plus 20 hook formulas, scripts, a shot list and a 30-day plan.
- Prompt Library ($9.99): 35 tested Prompt-to-Cut prompts in 8 categories, one click under Pack prompts.
- YouTube Long-Form Template Kit ($14.99): end screen, chapter cards, subscribe button and 6 text styles, plus pacing, chapter and description templates.
- Agency / Client Review Pack ($12.99): DRAFT and CONFIDENTIAL watermarks, V1 to V3 tags, review banners, safe guides and client feedback templates.
- The store now has sixteen tools, and every one works in the build-your-own bundle ($2 off each when you pick 2 or more)
- Most Companion Tools aren't AetherCut-only: LUTs, overlays, music, templates and the mini-apps work with any video editor, marked with a 'Works with any video editor' badge.
- New Articles section at /articles with guides and how-tos, plus Tools and Articles links in the site menu, footer and editor.
- Clicking upgrade twice no longer opens two checkouts, and leaving checkout asks one optional question so we can improve.
