Performance Mode un-ghosted — public count now 71 tools
AetherCut v1.7.80 shipped on with 4 updates to the private, browser-based video editor. Everything here is already included in the latest version. AetherCut edits on your own device, so your footage never has to be uploaded to a server.
What's new in v1.7.80
- Removed `perfmode` (DaVinci-style Preview Quality: Full / Smooth / Proxy) from the ghost-tool registry after closed-testing cohort signed off on the UX
- Bumped TOOLS_PRO 52 → 53 (TOOLS_TOTAL 70 → 71). AI_PRO unchanged at 28 — Performance Mode is a non-AI Pro tool
- Only one ghost tool remains: `review` (shareable timecoded review links), still pending Mongo persistence
- Regression tests updated (performanceMode + phaseDE suites) to assert the new un-ghosted state
