Fullscreen by default on desktop
AetherCut v1.4.4 shipped on with 4 updates to the private, browser-based video editor. Everything here is already included in the latest version. AetherCut edits on your own device, so your footage never has to be uploaded to a server.
What's new in v1.4.4
- Desktop users get a one-click "Enter fullscreen" prompt on first visit
- Your choice is remembered — opt in once and every future session auto-enters fullscreen on the first click
- Exit any time with the existing Maximize/Minimize toggle in the header
- Automatically skipped on mobile, tablet, and the Google Play app (those already run chromeless)
Try it
AetherCut is free to start and runs in Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, with no install and no account needed to edit. Open the editor or see how it works.
