Cleaner toolbars, honest copy, faster deploys
AetherCut v1.4.0 shipped on with 6 updates to the private, browser-based video editor. Everything here is already included in the latest version. AetherCut edits on your own device, so your footage never has to be uploaded to a server.
What's new in v1.4.0
- New contextual toolbar between preview and timeline (Split, Duplicate, Mute, Speed, Reverse, Lock, …)
- Frequents now opens as a real right-side panel — no more inline pinned icons
- About + Why dialogs merged; comparison tables synced across login & in-editor
- Donation button (Fuel AetherCut) on the free tier — one-time tips, no Pro grant
- Fixed: undo/redo flipping aspect ratio · TikTok/Instagram/YouTube share landing on X
- Railway now builds the React app natively via multi-stage Dockerfile
